Ivy Ventures LLC was founded in 2003 by Roger Johnson and Doug Wetmore, who have an extensive background in developing and operating outpatient imaging centers. Their imaging centers prospered by developing patient access improvements and strong community relationships to provide distinctive customer service to patients and physicians.
Ivy’s plan from the beginning was to partner with integrated health systems to apply a retail and entrepreneurial approach to growing referral driven service lines. Operating with an entrepreneurial approach in an increasingly retail market allows hospitals to provide a premium level of patient care and take full advantage of existing investments
Ivy has applied varied approaches to help clients distinguish service lines from the competition in a variety of service lines including imaging, surgery, heart and vascular, orthopedics, physical therapy, sleep, behavioral health, and more.

“I can honestly state that our partnership with Ivy Ventures to introduce the [SNAPCare ®] program to our medical staff was the best growth initiative we had in 2008." "One of the underestimated benefits that we did not consider when evaluating this program [SNAPCare ®] is the fact it has created a new “channel” of communication between physician practices and the hospital.”
